It's a party: Happy Birthday AmyK!!!!

Today is my good friend Amy Knepper's birthday and to celebrate, I'm throwing her a little party on my blog! I hope you'll join in the party games and if you keep reading there's even a party favor too! If you play along I'll add your contributions to this post. :)

Game 1: Send some love...
(Credits: Whimsicality Doodles 4 and Altered Embellies Stars by Jackie Eckles, Sausan Designs Sing Spring alphas, Jessica Bolton's Unamused Boys alphas)

Share your cards for Amy! (You can leave me a link in you credits so I can post them here.) And be sure to leave her a message on her blog wishing her a happy birthday!

Game 2: Scraplift!
Check out Amy's awesome gallery at DST or at RAKs and scraplift one of her pages! Here's one I did based on Amy's Shine layout.

(Credits: Lisa Whitney's Artsy Fartsy Sampler papers, Chalk Full of Fun elements, alphas and doodles, Painted Flower Doodle; Corina Nielson's Alphaspalooza Wrapper alpha; Amy Martin's Folded Stitched Ribbon; Kim Jensen's Vivid Intensity ribbons; Jen Wilson's Tuile Straight Aways; Rose Farver A New Day ribbon; Meredith Fenwick's Fuzzball swirls.)

Game 3: Visit Middle Earth
Amy is a big fan of Lord of the Rings! Go here to find out your elvish name.
Mine is Tamuríl Tinúviel and Amy's is Larien Táralóm! Leave a comment and tell us your name!

And then check out your hobbit name.
I would be Tigerlily Proudneck of Tuckborough and Amy is Azaelia Gamwich of the Bree Gamwiches.

Game 4: Hit the Pinata
If you don't have an XBox, play some Viva Pinata games online!

Game 5: Musical Chairs
Go to Gomez's web site and listen to some songs!

Game 6: Jane's Girls
Which Jane Austen character are you?

Here's what how I scored! (Leave a comment with your score too!)
You scored as Elizabeth Bennet. As one of Austen's most beloved characters, Elizabeth Bennet represents what most women would like to become: strong, independent, and loyal. Of course, she has her faults including a stubborn will of iron and a clinging to first impressions. Overall, Lizzie is bright and lovable...something to admire and aspire to.

Party favor
Thanks so much for coming to the party!!!!! As promised, here's a treat for you!
You can download this here. Please do not share or redistribute this gift. Please leave some love if you do download :)

Fun!!

I made a card for Amy too, you can see it here: http://thescrapspace.com/tania/?p=466

Turns out that we ARE related chica, my eleven name is Eámanë Tinúviel and my hobbit name is Bramblerose Proudneck of Tuckborough, LOL!!!

And it turns out that I am most like Jane Bennet. As someone who would rather see the good in people, Jane is a true pacifist and caregiver. At times, her shy temperament and naive outlook of people can land her in a compliant position, but those who know her love her for her positive spirit and cheerful view of what surrounds her.

If I get a chance to scraplift, I'll come back and link it up.

Thanks for the kit too, it's so cool!

Okay, happy birthday Amy. This is such a cute idea Robin! Now don't anyone tell Amy, but I have never made it all the way through the Lord of the Rings movies without falling asleep! My elfin name would be Larien Sirfalas (I actually like that) My Hobbit name is a hoot. Ready for this, Azalie Bumbleroot of Haysend. I don't want to be a Hobbit, no thank you, lol!

I'm like Cathy, I'll stick with the Elvish name, thank you! LOL

Happy Birthday, Amy!!

My elvish name is Ánië of Dorthonion. My hobbit name is May Brandybuck of Buckland.

You scored as Elinor Dashwood.
As Marianne's older sister, Elinor lives at the other end of the emotional spectrum. She rarely reveals her intense feelings and is more concerned with being honest and loyal than having what she deserves. Even though her intentions are pure, she sets herself up for loss by constantly placing other people before her own needs. Overall, Elinor is gentle and rational but is just as capable of radical emotions (despite her withholding them) as her sister.

Wonderful layout, Robin! Thanks for the cool papers!

Happy birthday! What a fun idea! And so much less awkward then an un-cyber party :0)

Great card and scraplift. I'd love to join, but still a bit too slow!

I scored as Jane Bennett and cant get to the other ones...okay, my husband was kind enough to go for me. My elf name is Nessa Minyatur, which is really cool because Nessa is my real nickname! And as a hobbit I am Ruby Frumblefoot of Bywater. Not bad, really :0)

Hope it was a great day!
