New buzzword - hee!

fauxtography
The staging, tampering, directing, Photoshopping, etc., of news photographs. They may look like news, but they're not. Several major news organizations have been burned lately by war zone photographers eager to make a name for themselves -- or at least a few bucks.

It's funny how obvious the cloning was in the photos. Even the Enquirer has been getting their fauxtography right since the 80's. It's hard to have sympathy for some reporters when they get into trouble over there after they have sent us such inflated garbage. Want the real stuff? Those soldiers love to wind down with an online penpal when they get the chance. They don't mind talking a little about what they are experiencing (providing they can) and they love to hear what's going on back home. Better than any news crew and you are doing a good thing while making a friend too.
